Bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

📖Luke 6: 28(NIV)

During these perilous days, others may rise against us.
Our natural response when we are hurt may be anger, retaliation, or withdrawal.
But Christ calls us to a better way: bless, pray, forgive, and keep doing good.
This doesn’t mean pretending harm is acceptable, or refusing wise boundaries.
It means, surrendering revenge to God, and refusing to let bitterness rule our hearts.
Jesus warned that we would face trouble, yet He also said, “Take heart! I have overcome the world”.
Let’s respond to hostility with courage and grace.
Each prayer for someone who has hurt us, becomes an act of spiritual discipline, one that loosens resentment’s grip and shapes us to reflect our Savior.
We may not change the other person, but God can transform us, strengthen our faith, and fill us with His peace.

Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Guard my heart from bitterness, when I am hurt.
Help me to love those, who rise against me.
Teach me to bless those, who seek to harm me.
Fill my heart with grace, to forgive.
Amen.

Practice forgiveness today instead of revenge.
May Christ give you strength to love faithfully, forgive freely, and walk forward in peace.
