God will lift us up when we humble ourselves before the Lord.
Humility is the fear of the Lord; its wages are riches and honor and life.
The Lord hates pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.
Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Help us to follow You and walk in humility.
May we rid ourselves of pride and arrogance, and instead submit to Your mighty hand.
Help us to trust You, as You will lift us up in Your perfect timing.
May we surrender to Your will, and be lifted up by Your hand in due time.
